The man behind Choice

My Name is Jakob, I am 24 years and studying Parasitology at the university of Copenhagen, Denmark.
I have written short stories and poetry in english as well as danish for as long as I can remember. I started out, in my younger years, playing descriptive written roleplaying, when it existed on MSN Chat.

This made a strong foundation for my descriptive style of writing, as well as ability to empathize with how other people should think or act. Through my high School years I stopped the descriptive roleplaying, but used a lot of my time among bloggers of the alternative and subcultural cultural groups in the danish society. Here I learned a lot about the thoughts from people with mental illnesses and how they actually felt (blogging and forums are strong source of information) spend a lot of time researching identity disorders.

I moved my interest to Biology and especially how evolution have effected the world, but soon discovered it was not for me. During my bachelor in Biology I studied half a year at Psychology, furthering my self-studies of the human mind. A great interest went to the old philosophers and their thoughts of the world around them. With this said I have used an extensive amount of time studying Howard Gardners way of grouping the mental psyches. My bachelor concerned behavioral science, of wolves and the effect of human vehicles within their enclosure in a zoological garden.

I have, in concern to psychology also tried to develop a science fiction world for roleplaying or maybe a novel in the future, where I am trying to use the 8 types of intelligence. Very interesting if the implementation would work.

Now I am studying parasites, which brings me to where I am in writing, where I have some of my inspiration. To be precise, I have used much of my psychological knowledge to find Edward Choice.

Edward Choice is my main person, and as you will follow this blog, you will learn that not everything is as it seems in his world. The neglect of common biology causes, in his case, dire consequences.

Other than of course all this litterature mentioned above, I have a taste for reading a lot of novels and fiction. They are in some parts also an inspiratoin, and as I have learned many times, the best way to understand writing is by reading yourself. Especially how to write down your thoughts in a way that causes awe and interest among the readers. My inspirational writes must be Clive Barker, Edgar Allan Poe, H. P. Lovecraft. They play with the language in the most beautiful macaber ways, which I can find none other than inspiring.

So read on, and learn what Choice has to offer of thoughts. Or take a look at my writing.com profile as well as my other blog.
